Mirror polished cut face; natural weathered exterior on the reverse and edges. The Bulletin describes the three stones as having weathered fusion crust.

D. Sheikh, Cascadia. Submitted by Daniel Sheikh. The Bulletin states that classification as winonaite is favored over acapulcoite because the sample plots within the winonaite field on olivine Fa, olivine FeO/MnO and plagioclase Or (Stephant et al., 2023).

Provenance
The Meteoritical Bulletin records that three stones were found in 2023 in Mauritania and were later purchased by Brian McDonald online in 2025 from a meteorite dealer in Morocco. The Bulletin records the main mass with Brian McDonald. This end cut is not the main mass; it was cut from another of the three stones. Treasure Coast Meteorite Co. holds all recorded material of NWA 18593 apart from the 29 g type specimen at Cascadia.

Meteorite surfaces, clast patterns and cut faces are individual to each stone, so a specimen can be compared directly against these images and weighed against the figure recorded here to two decimal places.
