High-Value Product Inquiry
Private Acquisitions
Select specimens are offered via private treaty sale to qualified buyers, including museums, institutions, and advanced private collectors. Private treaty transactions are conducted with full documentation, direct communication, and terms arranged prior to payment.
What Private Treaty Means
A private treaty sale is a direct transaction negotiated between buyer and seller, outside of public marketplace listings. Terms, pricing, payment method, and delivery logistics are agreed upon and documented before any funds change hands. This format is standard for significant acquisitions in the meteorite market and allows for the level of documentation and coordination that high-value specimens require.
Specimens offered via private treaty are typically those where the value, rarity, or complexity of the transaction make standard checkout processes inappropriate. This includes major lunar and Martian specimens, large oriented individuals, institutional acquisitions, and pieces where provenance documentation is part of the transaction.
All private treaty inquiries and transactions are handled with full discretion. Details of individual acquisitions are not disclosed publicly. Buyer identity, transaction terms, and delivery logistics are treated as confidential.

Delivery
Due to the value and rarity of specimens offered through private treaty, delivery is arranged through insured, white-glove logistics with coordinated handling. Options vary by destination and buyer requirements. For details on what white-glove delivery involves, see our White Glove Service page.
All export documentation, customs requirements, and insurance coordination are managed by Treasure Coast Meteorite Co. as part of the transaction. Delivery terms are confirmed in the purchase agreement before fulfillment.
