Provenance

Sinawan 005 was found in 2023 in the Ghadamis region of Libya. Treasure Coast Meteorite Co. has been the sole owner of this meteorite since acquisition and submitted the material for classification. It was classified by J. Garcia at ADARA under the work name BMD 007 and published in the Meteoritical Bulletin, MB 114. The Meteoritical Bulletin records the main mass as held by Brian McDonald of Treasure Coast Meteorite Co., IMCA Member #3323. This 187.65 gram end cut is that main mass and is offered as a classified specimen.
