Eleven stones of Northwest Africa 18592 were found in 2024 in northwest Africa and were purchased in 2025 by Brian McDonald, online, from a meteorite dealer in Morocco. The material was classified by D. Sheikh at the Cascadia Meteorite Laboratory, Portland State University, under laboratory number CML 1988, and approved on 16 May 2026 for publication in the Meteoritical Bulletin, MB 115. The Bulletin notes that the metal portion, kamacite and taenite, is almost entirely replaced by iron hydroxide terrestrial weathering products. The Meteoritical Bulletin records the main mass as held by Brian McDonald of Treasure Coast Meteorite Co., IMCA Member #3323. This 161.00 gram complete individual is offered as a classified specimen.
